Bella Bennett is a graphic designer originally from Maine and now residing in Cambridge, Massachusetts. In May 2022 she completed her MFA in Graphic Design at Boston University. Previously she received her Bachelor of Arts in Writing, Literature and Publishing from Emerson College in May 2019.
She is the co-founder of Staircase Books, a poetry micropress dedicated to publishing literature of enduring aesthetic and cultural value. Of Staircase Books’ first publication, Ex Machina by Joan Naviyuk Kane, the Boston Globe wrote: “The poems in Ex Machina hold a fire and ferocity, the language stripped by pounding storms to its rawest and most refined form.”
